Jelka is training actress at SevenSenses. Together with our PAR-trainers, she gives lively interview trainings where she plays the role of any interviewee you may encounter when conducting PAR. She has the great ability to dive under the skin of an interviewee and feel what effect a particular question has in her role of the interviewee.
Jelka:
“I started at SEVEN SENSES as a training actress where I mostly participate in the interview trainings. For me, it is a great opportunity to learn a lot about all different kinds of subjects and challenge others to adapt to the cultural background of their interviewee.
Since 2017 I have a bigger role in the SevenSenses Challenge and the SevenSenses Action Research Academy. With my background in pedagogy, I know a lot about communication and group dynamics. I train the Academy participants about these subjects and coach them when the Challenge starts. I combine the trainings with my acting skills which makes it very interactive. My opinion is that you learn a lot when you hear or see something, but you learn the most when you try and experience something yourself.
It feels good to be part of an organization that focusses on the wellbeing of the earth and its society.”
