A Participatory Action Research (PAR) focused on how residents of Zeist can and want to become active in the field of sustainability.
During the PAR, a group of dedicated citizens has formed to execute a network-strengthening plan focused on a more Sustainable Zeist. Members of the group have undertaken a Permaculture course. Additionally, they support each other in their actions for a more sustainable Zeist, such as planting trees on their own property and sharing information about biodiversity opportunities, as well as about protest actions, for example, against the shooting of swans. The group is also part of a larger initiative aimed at realizing a food forest in Zeist.”
